The Company
was established on 24th March 1987 as a private limited
company under its registered name Everest Hotel & Restaurant
Supplies Sdn. Bhd. at 104, Jalan Jejaka, Taman Maluri. Starting
off with only less than 10 employees in the early years, Everest
has seen great substantial growth over the years.
With
the wealth of experience acquired over the years, we have strived
to provide our customers with greater choices and better prices by
increasing our efforts in sourcing products from major manufacturers
in parts of Asia and Europe.With this decision to move into
the direct import sector, it has provided the company with
its present comprehensive product range of over 6000 different
products with ready stock on hand and distribution of leading
international brands such as Cameo, Cambro, Libbey, Traex,
Thermo Hauser, Carlisle, Pujadas etc.
To
meet with the increasing needs of additional showroom space
and the demands of a changing industry, Everest opened its
first Cash and Carry business with it’s relocation of
its corporate and warehousing functions to its new 20,000
sq. ft. premises in early April, 1993 with more than 25 employees
at No. 9, 11, 15-1, Lorong 6B/91, Taman Shamelin Perkasa,
Kuala Lumpur.
As
part of the realization of its expansion plans and with the
aim of improving its service and the needs of foodservice
providers within neighbouring states in mind, the Company
expanded its services into the South with its branch in Melaka
at 6, 8, 10, Jalan Melaka Raya 26, Taman Melaka Raya.
With
time, Everest has established a strong foothold and has gained
its substantial market shares within the local market. Everest
has continued to keep the business prospering through its
commitment and consistency in service and constantly improving
business ethics to meet with the increasing and ever changing
demands for products and services. With its extensive range
of professional kitchen utensils, quality tableware, foodservices,
and related equipment and utensils, Everest Hotel & Restaurant
Supplies has become one of the leading providers of hospitality
utensils and equipment supplies to the foodservice industry. |
